Clean Face

The most effective ways to clean your face.

We all know that eating clean, healthy foods and drinking lots of water is essential for healthy looking skin, but how we wash our face is certainly as important. I personally make this time a self-loving ritual. I take my time and celebrate my skin by offering it (any myself) kind and loving words, showing much appreciation for it. When I apply my cleanser, I gently massage it in for about 1 minute staying present by noticing how good it feels on my skin. This is just a sweet reminder to be gentle and loving with myself. It can take as little as 5 minutes. Try it!!

Here are some tips to keep in mind:

1. It's often recommended to wash our face twice a day, or at least before we go to bed.

2. Use cool to warm water. Hot water tends to dry skin.

3. Use a good cleanser that will help clean away bacteria we tend to accumulate throughout the day, especially make-up.

4. Add a little water to your cleanser and apply to face massaging it in circular motions. If you wish you can also use a soft towel.

5. Gently rinse your face removing all the soap and pat dry with a towel.

6. Look at yourself in the mirror and recognize all the Beauty that you are :).

Please keep in mind, if you use a make-up remover first, you must still wash your face with an actual cleanser. Make-up removers will not remove any bacteria you may have accumulated.
